This dish is an explosion of flavors, with the chorizo that provides a spicy touch, the garlic that gives it a deep flavor, and the cilantro that refreshes the whole thing. It's perfect for a comforting lunch!

  • 1 cup of rice

  • 2 Toluca chorizos, cut into slices

  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin

  • 2 cups chicken broth

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for a few minutes until fragrant.

  2. Add the chorizo slices to the pan and cook until golden brown and releasing their flavor.

  3. Add the rice and cumin to the pan and stir so that the rice is infused with the flavors of the chorizo and garlic.

  4. Pour the chicken broth into the pan and bring everything to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan and simmer for about 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and has absorbed all the liquid.

  5. Remove the pan from the heat and add the chopped cilantro. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy this delicious rice with chorizo, garlic and cilantro. Enjoy!
