COLOMBIAN FILLIN

Dare to try our irresistible Toasts Stuffed with Chorizo and Cheese!


An explosion of flavors that will make you come back for more. Enjoy this delicious recipe from Toluca Products and let yourself be surprised!


Ingredients:
  • 8 slices of bread of your choice

  • 200 g of Toluca chorizo, skinless and chopped

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 1 red pepper, diced

  • 1 cup of grated cheese (it can be cheddar, mozzarella or another of your preference)

  • 2 tablespoons melted butter Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 180°C and in a large frying pan over medium-high heat, cook the chorizo until golden and crispy. Remove excess fat if necessary. Add the onion and red pepper to the pan and cook until tender. Remove the pan from the heat and mix the chorizo, onion and pepper with the grated cheese. Booking. Spread each slice of bread with melted butter on both sides. Place half the bread slices on a baking sheet and add a generous portion of the chorizo and cheese mixture to each one. Cover with the remaining bread slices, forming sandwiches. Bake the toasts in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Cut the stuffed toasts into triangles or quarters and enjoy their irresistible flavor.
