Enjoy a delicious and simple Colombian recipe with a sweet and spicy touch! You only need:

  • Toluca Chorizos

  • 1/2 cup grated panela cheese

  • 1/4 cup orange juice

  • A pinch of ground ginger

  1. In a large skillet, cook the chorizos over medium-high heat until they are golden brown and fully cooked. Remove them from the skillet and place them on a plate.

  2. In the same skillet where you cooked the chorizos, add the grated panela cheese and water. Cook over medium heat until the panela melts and thickens into a syrup.

  3. Add the chorizos to the skillet with the panela syrup and cook for a few minutes, stirring constantly, until they are caramelized.

  4. Serve the caramelized chorizos with warm panela syrup as an appetizer or side dish.
