TOLUCA´S GREEN SAUCE

The same traditional green sauce, with our original touch.



Ingredients:


  • Mexican Toluca Chorizo

  • Green Pipian Sauce

  • Diced Chicken Breast

  • Green Tomatillos

  • Pumpkin Seeds

  • Garlic

  • White Onion

  • Chicken Broth

  • Oil

  • Salt and Pepper

  • Fresh Cilantro


Instructions:


  • Brown the Toluca chorizo ​​in a large pot until it releases its fat and is well sealed. Remove and set aside.

  • In the same pot, sauté finely chopped onion and garlic.

  • Add the chicken, sear it lightly, and then add the tomatillos. Cook for a few minutes.

  • Stir in the Toluca Green Pipian and mix well.

  • Gradually add chicken broth until you achieve a thick, smooth sauce.

  • Return the chorizo ​​to the pot and cook over low heat for 10–15 minutes to allow all the flavors to meld.

  • Adjust salt and pepper and finish with fresh cilantro.
